Hi! My name is … I recently turned 18, and I’m currently studying to become a veterinarian . I have a special connection with animals: I can sit with cats for hours, listening to them purr and trying to understand what’s on their minds. I have two cats at home: Marsa — a ginger, highly independent lady who believes the apartment belongs to her, and I’m just the one paying rent and buying food. Serafima, or simply Sima — a black-and-white fluffball who loves sleeping on my head and seems to think she’s a tiny cloud. And I also have a dream that many people find strange: I want to climb Everest. Not for heroics, but because I love the idea that a person can reach such heights, see the world literally “above the clouds,” and overcome themselves. I train, run, learn about the gear, read about acclimatization… I understand the path is long, but that’s what makes the dream beautiful.
